Songbird - audiopleer , based on
the engine of the popular browser Firefox. It is focused on playing
music files not only from the hard drive , but also from the network.
For design , Songbird - music player is not so much as a musical web
browser ... Songbird is able to work with a variety of music formats and
music services . It is possible to create a multimedia library that
helps you organize all music files in a single computer file, while it
can include songs that are in active network playlists.
Search for new tracks in the web by using line searches, implemented in analogy with Firefox.
Songbird offers ten search engines . You enter the name of the missing girl
songs , after which the search results are automatically added to the
playlist Web. Transfer of selected elements in the music library
completes the preservation of music.
During the first launch the program asks to specify the folder
where you want to search for music to compile a single playlist. This
process takes a few seconds , then you can proceed to work with the
music library . As a bonus, you can track changes in some locations .
For example, if you download music from the Internet , it will be
automatically added to the collection.
You can choose to subscribe to any resource. It appears as a
separate play list with constantly updated data . By default, the list
is updated once a day.
Besides standard playlists ,
Songbird allows you to organize the "smart playlists " . List of playable tracks
compiled on the basis of a complex search query . You can specify any
number of search criteria with a variety of conditions of entry , and
then limit the duration of the playing list and make it flexible sorting
.
Songbird can play
Internet radio stations , visit the online stores with music , search
for audio data in the blogs. This allows you to permanently assign a
program title " music browser .
Interface
Songbird can
operate in two modes . Awkward working application window is minimized
in compact strip, which provided only information about the current
composition and means of navigation on the current playlist . Feathered
theme music browser, developed in the metaphor of a "change of feathers "
- the so- called support developers themes . All themes have names
associated with birds . By default, Songbird looks like a "coal drake .
The distribution included another theme , which makes the program look
like a "white dove ". Frankly , to catch these similarities the average
brain is very difficult , but the desire of authors to give some kind of
