Personal Software Inspector (PSI) from the company Secunia - a program to identify and address vulnerabilities in the applications installed on your computer.
Secunia Personal Software Inspector ensures timely updates to fifty of the most popular applications that are deployed on the 2 million user computers. The list includes software products from Microsoft, Adobe Systems, Apple and other manufacturers that can make your computer vulnerable to hackers. Many of these programs have their own means of automatic updates. However, due to the lack of a single mechanism, announcing the availability of new patches, client systems can not be reliably protected.
PSI performs accurate inventory of all installed applications, and stores versions, and following the release of new patches. By default, access the Internet several times a day, but you can change the regularity of inspections with the personal preference.
