When you format and install a new OS you spend much time configuring Windows, registry settings, icons, etc. ... This release has been modified for the "standard default configuration." The ultimate goal was to obtain a fresh installed OS with all the settings in the right place by default, instead of having to manually do all the adjustments one at a time. I'm using Windows 7 Professional, a basic version for this version, simply because they come with 7 Professional Backup and bit locker.Dism was used to integrate the updates and remove unneeded packages, such as "The upgrading version option" (annoying its presence in the control panel, why do not you upgrade to the ultimate version), Country Packages and more ...
The default settings are:
- Special theme ROG
- System icon
- System sounds
- Wallpaper
- Media center is completely changed
- Media player (replaced by the background)
- System fonts (only ROG theme)
Registry Settings:
- Removed, is the default 100 MB partition when installing. (Now you can install Windows, without the hidden partition)
- Pane windows are optimized for display on the display with a resolution of 1920x1200
- New options "right click" in the file menu and desktop (icons added)
- No IE9 on the taskbar and StartMenu
- Windows Switcher
- DEP is disabled
- UAC is disabled
- Automated system restore point (every time) are disabled
- 2048 MB swap file (you can even turn it off completely if you want)
- Configured to output, high efficiency
- Boot selector name Personalized (ROG 64 Bit)
- Saving and restoring the location of icons (to hide the "Shift" key plus right-click.)
